Passive noise tuned mass dampers
Passive tuned mass dampers (TMD) are damped spring-mass systems that are connected to the system to be calmed (e.g. gearbox). ESM has developed three-dimensionally adjustable TMDs, available as standard, which reduce interference vibrations in all directions with just one TMD.
Adaptive tuned mass dampers
ESM's adaptive tuned mass dampers (ATMD), which adjust to the frequency of interference, consist of a spring-mass system in which an actuator unit adjusts the spring in such a way that speed-dependent structural vibrations are calmed.
Vibration measurement
If required, our experts will carry out vibration measurements and modal analyses on your system. This enables us to determine interference frequencies and validate the effect of the products we use. Among other things, frequency analyzers and highly sensitive microphones are used.
